Steele Creek Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated, experienced Kennel Assistant to join our compassionate care team. If you love animals and take pride in providing safe, clean, and nurturing environments for our
patients — we want to hear from you.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Prior experience working in a kennel, veterinary, or animal care setting.
  • Genuine love and respect for animals of all kinds.
  • Ability to safely handle dogs and cats of varying temperaments and sizes.
  • Strong attention to detail — feeding, medications, and cleanliness protocols.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team-first attitude.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Feeding, watering, and monitoring boarding and hospitalized animals.
  • Maintaining clean and sanitary kennel environments.
  • Exercising and socializing animals in your care.
  • Communicating observations to veterinary staff.
  • Assisting with animal handling during exams and treatments as needed.
