PRODUCTION PLANNER
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
$17.00–$22.00/hour DOE

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand, staffing, and material availability.
- Coordinate production activities to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
- Communicate schedule changes with production, purchasing, warehouse, and management teams.
- Evaluate labor, equipment, and material availability to support production goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and material flow to identify shortages or bottlenecks.
- Work closely with purchasing to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Resolve production scheduling and inventory issues to minimize downtime.
- Track production performance and prepare reports for management.
- Assist with production planning to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate production priorities with department supervisors.
- Help establish production goals, priorities, and workflow schedules.
- Support quality, safety, and company policy compliance.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and required training.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, suppliers, and coworkers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of production planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- ERP/MRP system experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain is a plus.
