Job Type : Full TimeLocation : Modesto, CaliforniaPay : Good pay and benefits!Job Description What you will be doing:
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in the clinic and occasionally in participants' homes.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on participant needs, goals, and functional abilities.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to develop and coordinate comprehensive care plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, cognition, and independence with ADLs.
  • Provide active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, and functional rehabilitation.
  • Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), providing guidance on Functional Maintenance Programs (FMPs).
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality participant care.
Experience you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (Master's degree preferred).
  • Active California Occupational Therapist License or proof of license eligibility.
  • CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred, or ability to obtain both within 180 days of hire.
  • 1 to 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience working in one or more of the following settings: Outpatient Rehabilitation, Acute Care, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Inpatient Rehabilitation, Home Health.
  • Experience treating adult and/or geriatric populations.
  • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and patient education skills.
