Overview
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel assignment in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Start date 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,442–$2,583 per week with guaranteed hours of 72 biweekly. Shift is 3x12 rotating (12-hour shifts, 7:00 pm–7:30 am) in a hospital setting. This assignment requires NICU/PICU experience and involves rotating weekends and holidays. The role involves performing respiratory assessments, prescribed therapies, and care for a pediatric and neonatal population, with coordination to the main hospital when needed.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing respiratory assessments and administer prescribed therapies for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients as applicable.
- Manage ventilator support, airway clearance therapies, bronchodilators, and other prescribed respiratory interventions; monitor effectiveness and adjust as directed.
- Perform arterial blood gas draws and interpret results; document findings and communicate clinically relevant changes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team, respond to changing patient needs, and participate in triage when patient volume shifts to the main hospital.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, ensure equipment readiness, perform routine equipment checks, and uphold infection control practices.
- Provide education and support to patients and family members as appropriate; escalate concerns to supervising clinicians in a timely manner.

Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license with Active RRT credential (NBRC verification preferred)
- AHA BLS certification; NRP certification required; AHA ACLS preferred
- NICU/PICU experience required
- Ability to draw arterial blood gases
- Proficiency with EMR systems preferred
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment; no local travelers accepted
- Able to work 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays as scheduled
- Documentation of availability for interview at submission is required
