Position: Quality Technician
Location: Hebron, KY
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour

Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM
Position Summary
Support the Quality team in executing day-to-day responsibilities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and assisting in special projects as needed. Employees are expected to demonstrate strong core values and foster a positive culture through interactions with co-workers and guests.
Key Responsibilities and Priorities
- Promote safety culture through safety toolbox talks, safety committee participation, and positive reinforcement programs
- Ensure compliance with process/final inspection requirements
- Familiarity with FAI (First Article Inspection)
- Perform finished goods audits
- Ensure compliance with incoming material (receiving) inspection requirements
- Document, file, and communicate inspection/testing results
- Utilize test equipment: calipers, tape measure, comparator, tensile test machines, hardness testers, and other lab equipment
- Read/interpret drawings, routers (work orders), bills of material, and other part documentation and directives
- Respond to emails regarding product and quality concerns from internal correspondence
- Ensure proper military part inspection using MIL specifications and sampling documents
- Ensure accuracy of all data collected and entered
- NMR/NCR (Non-Conforming Material Report) process
- MRB (Material Review Board) process
- 5S, Kanban, and continuous improvement activities
- 2+ years of experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate or higher aptitude with D-365 (ERP software) and MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Desired Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Organized with high attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (5-Why, 8D, etc.)
- Knowledge of pre-production testing, PPAP process
- Ability to set up test machines with minimal instructions
