Role OverviewThe Production Machine Operator will be responsible for operating production equipment and tooling in a manufacturing setting. In this role, you will be expected to follow production schedules, ensure quality control, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The starting rate of pay will be $21.80 per hour, with a $1 shift differential for 2nd shift. The ability to work overtime and occasional weekend shifts is required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)Operating various production equipment and tooling Assembling products and parts in manufacturing processes Performing validation testing Meeting deadlines of individual production targets during shiftsCreating progress reports, defect reports, and incident reports as necessary Maintaining lineside stock levels Keeping the worksite clean Reviewing and following manufacturing manuals/processes Following the company's safety and quality guidelines AUTHORITY & SCOPEThis role operates within defined corporate policies and procedures and exercises judgment appropriate to its level of responsibility.
