The Director of Admissions provides strategic and operational leadership for undergraduate recruitment and admissions at Lyon College, with a primary focus on growing and stabilizing enrollment. This role is responsible for developing and executing a results-driven recruitment strategy that increases enrollment of first-time, full-time (FRESH) and transfer students, with particular emphasis on the Batesville Area Pipeline (BAP) and the expanded BAP-plus region (within a 150-mile radius).This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and direct execution. The Director oversees the full admissions lifecycle, manages staff and resources, and ensures a data-informed, student-centered approach to recruitment. The Director works closely with the Vice President for Enrollment Management to align strategy, manage budget priorities, and achieve institutional enrollment goals in a resource-conscious environment.Develop and implement a focused recruitment strategy to grow enrollment in key markets, including the Batesville Area Pipeline (BAP) and BAP-plus region.Increase enrollment of first-time, full-time (FRESH) and transfer students through targeted, data-informed initiatives.Establish and monitor enrollment goals, funnel metrics, and yield strategies to support institutional growth and stability.Regularly assess recruitment effectiveness and adjust strategies to maximize results within budget constraints.Minimum Qualifications %CF; Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. %CF; Minimum of 5 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related field. %CF; Demonstrated success in meeting enrollment goals and managing recruitment initiatives. Preferred Qualifications %CF; Experience working in rural or regional recruitment markets. %CF; Experience with CRM systems (preferably JRM or similar SALESFORCE-based platforms). %CF; Experience in access-focused or mission-driven institutions.
