Job Description
Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN
Location: Union Grove, WI 53182
Assignment duration: 12 months (possible extension)
Pay rate: $40/hr.
Scheduling options
1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 3 PM
2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM
3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 7 AM
Overview
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN provides direct and indirect nursing care to geriatric and/or disabled patients. The LPN is responsible for administering and documenting medications as prescribed by the physician, monitoring patient conditions, and delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing LPN-level nursing procedures and treatments such as tube feedings, catheterizations, irrigations, sterile dressing changes, suctioning, tracheostomy care, nebulizer treatments, and specialized skin care. The LPN works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to established clinical protocols.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of full-time experience as an LPN
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
