Cardiothoracic Surgery APP – NP/PA

Assignment Details

• Location: Towson, Maryland

• Start Date: October 1, 2026 or as soon as credentialed

• Duration: Ongoing

• Practice Setting: Hospital

• One provider needed

• Coverage Reason: Turnover vacancy

Compensation: Hourly - $170/hr, Orientation - $110/hr.

Schedule

• Full-time

• Approximately 5 shifts per week / 20 shifts per month

• 10-hour shifts

• Start time varies depending on case load

• Typical start times: 6:30 AM or 8:00 AM

• No call

• No weekends

Clinical Responsibilities

• Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage

• Surgical first assist for cardiac surgery cases

• Vein harvesting

• Work collaboratively with the surgical team

• Provider will not work solo

• EMR: Epic

Required Skills

• Cardiac Surgery first-assist experience

• Vein harvesting experience

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Active Maryland license required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience

• ACLS required

• BLS required

• DEA required

• Maryland CSR required

• IMLC not accepted

Credentialing

• Approximately 60 days

• Full and temporary privileges available
