5000.00 Sign On Bonus
$40.00 per hour
$2.00 differential for weekend shifts
7:00PM - 7:00AM
Friday, Saturday and Sunday Nights for 10 bed vent unit
Responsibilities of our Respiratory Therapist include:
Administration of respiratory care modalities/procedures upon the order of the physician in our Vent Unit.
Carrying out respiratory care procedures as outlined within acceptable standards and practices.
Walk-thru shift start/end clinical reports with on-coming respiratory personnel.
Sharing/receiving relevant and vital information for the effective resident plan of care.
Complying with Policy-Procedure regarding medical record documentation.
Demonstrates the required clinical skills to ensure safe and effective respiratory care therapy.
Ensuring timeliness of all treatments and ventilator clinical rounds surveillance.
Provides timely, accurate and effective resident respiratory evaluations in response to care needs.
Always maintains infection control practices inclusive of disposable supply changes.
Timely transport of respiratory residents within Facility & OOB assistance as needed.
Responding to continuous ventilator alarming within 15 second time interval.
Present friendly and caring bedside manner to all residents.
Eligibility/Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved school for respiratory care and nursing with respiratory care training
Credential as either CRT or RRT by the National Board for Respiratory Care
Minimum of two (2) years in acute/chronic respiratory care experience
