Machine Operator
Location: Durham, NC
Shift: Day | 2-2-3 Schedule | 7:00am - 7:30pm

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
- Perform weight checks on drying catalysts and record data on terminal
- Unload carts from the dryer with electric pallet jack
- Unwrap catalysts and operate saw to cut the ends
- Perform a dedust/quality check and scan material into terminal
- Load/unload catalysts onto pallets and oven fixtures
- Transport and organize loaded pallets
Requirements for the Machine Operator:
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Self-motivated with good basic math and written communication skills.
- Safety-conscious and willing to take on responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain good attendance.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read, follow instructions, and accurately record information.
- Work experience in an industrial environment with knowledge of general plant safety.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to mechanical noise, a dusty work environment, and varying temperatures.
Physical Requirements for the Machine Operator
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Standing for extended periods and performing physical activities like walking, stooping, bending, crouching, twisting, climbing, and kneeling.
