Machine Operator
Location: Durham, NC
Shift: Day | 2-2-3 Schedule | 7:00am - 7:30pm
Pay: $18.00 per hour

As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our production running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. Your work directly supports the products we deliver and the customers who rely on them. Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
  • Perform weight checks on drying catalysts and record data on terminal
  • Unload carts from the dryer with electric pallet jack
  • Unwrap catalysts and operate saw to cut the ends
  • Perform a dedust/quality check and scan material into terminal
  • Load/unload catalysts onto pallets and oven fixtures
  • Transport and organize loaded pallets
Requirements for the Machine Operator:
  • Reliable means of transportation.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Self-motivated with good basic math and written communication skills.
  • Safety-conscious and willing to take on responsibility.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain good attendance.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to read, follow instructions, and accurately record information.
  • Work experience in an industrial environment with knowledge of general plant safety.
Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to mechanical noise, a dusty work environment, and varying temperatures.
Physical Requirements for the Machine Operator
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Standing for extended periods and performing physical activities like walking, stooping, bending, crouching, twisting, climbing, and kneeling.
