Gastroenterologist – Full-Time | Georgia (Community-Based Hospital)
A progressive, community-focused regional health system in Georgia is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join a growing GI service line. This is a permanent employed role with strong procedural volume, modern endoscopy suites, and a highly supportive surgical and mid-level team.
Position Overview
- Full-time Gastroenterologist
- Practice supported by:
- A fellow gastroenterologist
- Four general surgeons
- Experienced mid-level providers
- Monday–Friday schedule, 8 AM – 5 PM
- Weekly duties split equally between outpatient clinic and hospital-based endoscopy
- Call: 7 days/month (one week per month)
- Shared with general surgeons and fellow GI physician
- Extra pay available for additional call
- Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
- Modern endoscopy suites and strong procedural support

Requirements
- Completion or upcoming completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years if eligible)
- Georgia medical license or eligibility via Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- ERCP required; EUS preferred
- Visa candidates accepted for this specialty
