Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct segments of occupational therapy treatment programs aimed at restoring and improving physical, cognitive, social, and functional skills.
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions for acute care patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Assess patient needs, establish measurable goals, monitor progress, and update treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient status, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Co-lead interdisciplinary groups to coordinate care and ensure alignment with department objectives.
- Promote patient safety, advocate for functional independence, and adjust interventions to accommodate medical status and hospitalization timelines.

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (Bachelor’s or Master’s, as required by state regulations).
- Experience in an acute care or inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient environment and participate in travel assignment.
