Litigation Paralegal

Based in New York, NY, we are a multidisciplinary law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The NYC office is expanding and seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a growing team supporting sophisticated commercial insurance defense and general liability litigation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who values substantive legal work client relations and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery management including drafting responding to discovery requests and compiling organizing and indexing documents with accuracy and efficiency
• Draft motions affidavits and related litigation documents while preparing legal memoranda and supporting motion practice and dispositive briefing
• Prepare organize store and retrieve case files including pleadings discovery depositions and trial materials while managing case timelines and coordinating with clients and opposing counsel
• Support attorneys with deposition preparation and case management by maintaining detailed case files managing discovery schedules and assisting with legal research and analysis

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or degree required or 3+ years of equivalent litigation paralegal experience acceptable
• 3+ years of commercial insurance defense and general liability litigation experience with demonstrated knowledge of litigation procedures and discovery practices
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite case management systems and e-document management software with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
