Shippenville Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients
Conduct physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and goals
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care, safety, and quality outcomes
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in physical therapy assistant or related field preferred
Must be certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or be eligible to become certified
Must be licensed to practice as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Pennsylvania
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and interpersonal skills
