Hardware Assembler
Job Description
The Assembler is responsible for performing basic assembly and production tasks while
maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
We're looking for someone who
%CF; Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred)
%CF; Does not require prior manufacturing or assembly experience
%CF; Can operate a single process or machine with minimal assistance
%CF; Understands basic safety and quality best practices for machinery and equipment
%CF; Is familiar with hand tools and materials such as metals, plastics, or purchased components
%CF; Has basic knowledge of inspection processes or tools used for assigned tasks
%CF; Is comfortable with basic math and following verbal and written instructions
%CF; Possesses basic computer skills
%CF; Is flexible with variable schedules and can arrive promptly for shifts
%CF; Is willing to be cross-trained in other departments during high-demand periods
%CF; Is open to working in other areas as needed
What you'll do
%CF; Read and follow written and verbal work instructions
%CF; Assemble basic products while meeting cycle time requirements
%CF; Inspect parts and materials to ensure quality standards are met
%CF; Test finished products, mark parts as required, and package items for shipment
%CF; Maintain accurate records of production quantities and time
%CF; Inventory parts and tools used during the assembly process
%CF; Identify and report equipment issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to leadership
%CF; Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and attention to detail
%CF; Practice 6S and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
%CF; Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures
%CF; Support team efforts by completing related tasks as needed
Physical requirements
%CF; Must be able to lift up to 20–30 lbs
%CF; Must be able to perform repetitive motions for extended periods
%CF; Must be comfortable standing for most of the shift
%CF; Must be able to work in a manufacturing or production environment
