Maintenance Worker

Overview
Erie Basin Marina is seeking a hard-working and diligent seasonal (April-November) Maintenance worker to keep our marina looking clean and beautiful. The ideal candidate will possess ambition, as well as a good sense of teamwork. This role does involve hands-on activities--solo or as a team.

Duties:

• Ensuring bathrooms are cleaned, and up to standards.
• Picking up litter.
• Landscaping--weed whacking, lawnmowing, weed-killing, etc.
• Basic plumping, electrical, carpeting, welding, wood working, etc.
• Boat movement/operation.
• Painting/staining.
• Dock repairs.

Requirements:

• Maintenance experience not required, but preferred.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Electrical, plumbing, landscaping, etc. experience preferred--but not required, as long as you're willing to learn.
• Able to be on your feet for 7 hours a day.
• Able to bend, crawl, climb, swim, and kneel.
• Working with hand tools.
• Boating experience is not required, but would be a plus.
• Must have a reliable source of transportation.
• Willing to help in other fields of the marina (dockhands, gas dock attendant, ship store).
• Working outside, rain or shine.
• Not afraid of water or heights.
• The want to learn new skills.

Job Type: Seasonal Full-time (April 1st to October 31st)

Pay: $20.00 per hour
