Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fabricator II to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will fabricate products by following manufacturing drawings, templates, and work instructions while ensuring all finished products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and is eager to learn manufacturing processes and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, templates, and work instructions
- Fabricate products according to customer and company specifications
- Accurately measure materials using rulers and tape measures
- Inspect finished products to verify they meet quality standards
- Operate manufacturing equipment and tools safely (training provided)
- Maintain accurate production records as required
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
- Experience reading manufacturing drawings is a plus
- Sewing experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and unit conversions
- Ability to accurately use a ruler and tape measure
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes and equipment
Physical Requirements
- Frequently sit, stand, walk, and perform repetitive hand movements
- Push and pull materials as needed
- Occasionally bend, twist, kneel, balance, and perform fine motor tasks
- Frequently lift up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. (team lifting required for loads over 25 lbs.)
- Ability to perform close-up work requiring strong visual attention to detail
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment
- Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed, including safety glasses, respirators, gloves, aprons, or arm covers depending on the task
