I am looking for a special person to join my team at Daisy Lane Veterinary Clinic. My practice is completely independently owned, and is a single DVM clinic. If you are looking for a low-drama, highly collaborative environment where your well-being matters, you will fit right in.

Schedule:
Closed Wednesdays and Sundays
Closed Saturdays
* except last Saturday of most months (open 9-noon)
(Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, Jun, Jul, Aug, Oct)

Required Experience:
Veterinary technician, or assistant with at least 2 years of experience

The ideal candidate will be inquisitive and enjoy learning independently and applying problem solving skills to their work. They will notice what needs to be done, help coworkers, and contribute to keeping the clinic running smoothly with multi-tasking while maintaining attention to detail.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Venipuncture and catheter placement
  • Intubation
  • Radiographic positioning, collimating
  • Dental radiographic positioning
  • Dentistry - performing scaling, polishing, charting
  • Surgical preparation and assisting
  • Instrument cleaning, sharpening, packing, autoclaving
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Client education in wide range of topics
  • Solid patient restraint techniques
  • Answering phones as needed
