We are currently looking for a Senior TIG Welder in Somerset, NJ. A well established sheet metal fabricator is looking for experienced, dedicated, and hard working individuals who want to continue their career while earning a great paycheck.


Schedule

  • Monday - Friday
  • 6:00am - 2:30pm (multiple shifts available)


Competitive Compensation Offered!

  • $22-28/hr. (Based on experience)


Senior Welder Responsibilities:

  • Weld metal parts according to blueprints specification using TIG/MIG
  • Inspect materials to be welded.
  • Set up, operate and maintain equipment.
  • Use of hand tools
  • Run repetitive production parts as needed.
  • Maintains work area.
  • Perform other related duties or work at a different workstation as production needs require.


Senior Welder Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing (metal shop exp a PLUS)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in TIG and MIG welding (aluminum/stainless steel a PLUS)
  • Experience with Miller Welding Robot a PLUS
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) a PLUS
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and weld symbols.
  • Ability to read blueprints and measure parts.
  • Ability to meet productivity standards, completing work in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in an evolving, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs. and more.
  • Dependable, detail oriented, energetic, and eager to learn
