Essential Duties and Responsibilities for a Material Handler

• Safely managing and transporting inventory and materials to designated areas throughout the facility.
• Adhering to established put-away protocols and accurate inventory control procedures.
• Operating forklifts and material handling equipment efficiently and safely as required.
• Loading, unloading, and organizing incoming and outgoing stock.
• Optimizing and adjusting storage locations to maximize warehouse efficiency.
• Collaborating with and assisting other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements of a Material Handler

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn new skills and support cross-functional teams.
• A proven track record of excellent punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Demonstrated career stability and commitment to previous employers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow both written and verbal directives.
