We are seeking a credentialed Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our mobile imaging team. In this role, you will travel to nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities within your assigned territory to perform bedside vascular ultrasound studies on our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist who enjoys autonomy, variety, and direct patient interaction outside of a traditional hospital or clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to assigned nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities to perform bedside vascular ultrasound studies, including but not limited to venous duplex (DVT) studies, arterial duplex studies, and other vascular diagnostic exams as ordered
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment safely and effectively in a non-traditional clinical setting
  • Position and prepare patients for studies, ensuring comfort and safety, including patients with limited mobility
  • Accurately capture, label, and submit diagnostic images and worksheets in accordance with company and accreditation standards
  • Communicate professionally with facility nursing staff regarding scheduling, patient status, and any care coordination needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely completion of studies for physician interpretation
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable state and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • Current RVT credential through ARDMS or CCI (required)
  • Associate's degree or certificate from an accredited vascular technology/sonography program preferred
  • Minimum [1–2] years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical rotations may be considered
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required) — this role involves daily travel between facilities
  • Comfortable working independently in the field with minimal direct supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with elderly and medically complex patients
  • Ability to lift and transport portable ultrasound equipment (up to [30] lbs)
