Accountant (Non-CPA)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Mount Vernon, NY. This in-office position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who is skilled in bookkeeping, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general accounting functions. A minimum of 10+ years of accounting experience in construction or manufacturing is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare sales tax reports
• Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts
• Process payroll
• Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 10+ years of accounting experience in construction or manufacturing
• Proficiency with QuickBooks preferred
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and schedule deadlines

This position does not require CPA certification. We welcome qualified accountants, bookkeepers, and accounting professionals with relevant experience.
