Landscaping Groundskeeping Laborer

Landscaping and Groundskeeping Laborer is responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces such as residential yards, commercial properties, parks, and public grounds.

This role is physically demanding and requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, often involving heavy lifting and repetitive tasks

Key Responsibilities

• Lawn Care: Mow, edge, aerate, and fertilize turf and grass areas.
• Planting & Gardening: Dig soil, plant trees, shrubs, and flowers, and pull weeds.
• Maintenance: Prune hedges, water plants, and clear leaves or debris.
• Equipment Operation: Use mowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, and hand tools safely.
• Hardscaping Support: Help build patios, walkways, or retaining walls when needed.
• Sprinkler System: Knowledge on setting up sprinkler systems

Requirements and Skills

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
• Outdoor Tolerance: Comfort working in various weather conditions like heat, cold, and rain.
• Tool Knowledge: Basic skill or willingness to learn power and hand tool operations.
• Teamwork: Ability to follow instructions from a supervisor and work well with others.
