Job Description –Direct Care Worker

Job Summary: The DCW is a front line position acting as a representative of Higher Hopes and providing the services offered by the company. DCW will mostly work with members with intellectual disabilities alongside co-workers or supervisors participating in community outings, creative arts, educational activities amongst other scheduled social activities.

One of the most important aspects of Higher Hopes will be providing members with a strong sense of self-esteem and independence. Staff at Higher Hopes' pride themselves on taking a genuine interest in the members and their lives to help to create a true sense of support.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 - 3:00pm

Higher Hopes is a Day Program offering support to adults living with a developmental disability through community involvement and employment. Hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 7:00 - 3:00.
