Production Lead

About the Role
Hidden Industries is a growing copper wire recycling and granulation facility. The Production Team Lead is the person on the floor who keeps operations running safely and efficiently — leading the crew, keeping machines dialed in, and making sure material moves through clean and accurately documented.
What You'll Do
Team Leadership
%CF; Assign daily work to production operators and monitor performance and productivity
%CF; Train new employees and reinforce safety procedures
%CF; Verify end-of-shift housekeeping is completed
%CF; Coordinate with operators and forklift drivers to keep workflow moving
Operations & Machine Care
%CF; Run and oversee daily loading, unloading, sorting, and copper wire shredding operations
%CF; Manage machine setup, shutdown, and preventative maintenance tracking
%CF; Handle blade and shear bar changes: inspect knives, shear bars, bearings, belts, and screens; replace wear components
%CF; Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues; escalate major repairs to the GM
Quality & Reporting
%CF; Monitor throughput rates, recovery percentages, and material quality
%CF; Support the GM and COO with data entry for material intake and output reports
%CF; Maintain organized, safe work areas and report equipment issues immediately
%CF; Participate in training, safety meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
What You Bring
%CF; 2+ years of hands-on mechanical or maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
%CF; Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in an industrial environment
%CF; Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
%CF; Forklift certification a plus, not required
Work Environment
Industrial warehouse setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and dust. Physical labor and repetitive tasks with required PPE (gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing and eye protection).
