About the Role:
Academy of Excellence Learning Center in Lancaster, CA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our dedicated team! Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children
- Monitor and document children's developmental progress and milestones
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and daily activities
- Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support a positive learning community
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked classroom environment
Requirements:
- At Least 12 units in Early Childhood Education
- Valid California Child Development Permit (Teacher level or higher) preferred
- Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
