We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our dedicated Regional / Over-the-Road (OTR) transportation team. The ideal candidate will operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently across designated routes, ensure on-time deliveries, and uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance. Weekly Pay Range $1,900 - $2,500
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations for commercial hauling and the transportation of non-hazardous and hazardous materials.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks including checking/adding fluids inspecting tires, verifying safety mechanisms, and other duties essential to safe vehicle operation.
- Load, unload, and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials from customer locations.
- Operate hydraulic pumps and connect hoses as required.
- Review work orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
- Ensure proper placarding for all applicable loads.
- Work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, driver logs, and vehicle maintenance documentation (including onboard computer data).
- Immediately report all traffic violations, incidents, or accidents.
- Secure all loads prior to transport.
- Respond to emergencies within the scope of received training.
- Maintain a professional attitude and high level of customer service at all times.
- Keep equipment clean and presentable.
- Plan routes and manage time effectively to meet delivery appointments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsement (must be 21+).
- Minimum 1 years of verifiable tanker driving experience.
- Valid TWIC card.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to wear all required PPE (gloves, respirators, safety glasses, protective footwear, hard hat).
- Ability to sit for extended periods; climb ladders and stairs; reach above shoulders and below knees; kneel and crawl as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and grasp for sustained periods.
- Maintain balance on wet, slick, uneven, or elevated surfaces including metal grates and narrow platforms.
- Work in loud, cold, hot, wet, or dry environments, indoors and outdoors, including inclement weather.
- Enter and exit industrial vehicles and equipment without assistance.
