ASE Automotive Technician

We are looking for an A level automotive technician with the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years working in a professional repair shop or dealership
• PA state inspections and emissions license (required)

Technical Skills:

• Engine Diagnostics: Use lab scopes and scanners to find deep internal engine or fuel system faults
• Electrical Systems: Read complex wiring diagrams and fix multiplexing or computer network issues
• Drivability: Test and repair rough idles, hesitation, and bad fuel economy problems
• Unit Overhaul: Tear down, rebuild, and re-seal engines, transmissions, and major drive-axle units

Tools and Work Habits:

• Professional Tools: Own a complete set of hand tools, specialty diagnostic meters, and air/battery power tools
• Fast and Accurate: Fix hard problems right the first time without wasting shop time
• Must be able to work well with others and independently
• Must be able to communicate clearly with co-workers

We are a small independent shop that prides itself on honesty and integrity. We service all makes and models, but specialize in European vehicles. We provide regular maintenance repairs as well as performance upgrades.

The shop provides A/C and 2 lifts per tech.
