Construction Recruiter

We are seeking a motivated Recruiter to support the growth of a heavy civil construction contractor. This role is responsible for recruiting and staffing personnel for earthwork, utility, demolition, and site development projects while building a strong pipeline of skilled construction talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit field and project personnel for current and future projects.
• Source operators, laborers, pipe crews, foremen, superintendents, mechanics, surveyors, project engineers, and project managers.
• Build candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, social media, trade schools, and industry contacts.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding, and pre-employment requirements.
• Partner with project managers and leadership to forecast hiring needs.
• Attend hiring events and maintain recruiting activity tracking.
• Support employee retention and workforce planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, or workforce development.
• Construction recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of heavy civil construction, utilities, earthwork, demolition, or site development is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel periodically as needed.
