Custodian

The custodian plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment within the facility. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure hygiene and operational standards are met. Custodians report directly to the Operations Supervisor and contribute to the smooth running of daily facilities operations.

Position open:

8am-12pm M-F

4pm-8pm M-F

8am-4pm - Saturday & Sunday

4pm-8pm - Saturday & Sunday

Responsibilities

• Perform facility cleaning and maintenance duties
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly
• Sanitize restrooms to maintain hygiene standards
• Operate cleaning and maintenance equipment safely
• Comply with safety protocols and regulations
• Replenish cleaning supplies and stock as needed
• Handle hazardous materials following safety guidelines
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in custodial work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety protocols
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Physical stamina for manual tasks
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
