Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in supporting clinical functions within a primary care setting. Working as part of a medium-sized team of 6 to 10 healthcare professionals, the Medical Assistant will report directly to a physician and assist with patient care and administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations without the need for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake and measure vital signs
• Manage and update medical records accurately
• Administer injections as directed
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently
• Provide patient education on clinical procedures and care
• Assist clinical staff and physicians during patient examinations

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in medical assisting
• Patient care skills with knowledge of electronic health records (EHR)
• Proficient in vital signs measurement and injection administration
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
