Quality Control Inspector Bilingual Spanish/English

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector (2nd & 3rd Shift)

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports to: Quality Assurance Assistant

Bilingual Spanish and English

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

%AA; Processing and packaging reviews

%AA; Pre-op and Operational sanitation plant inspection

%AA; Assist in plant testing

%AA; Testing and sampling of products in process and finished items to evaluate product quality and

safety

%AA; During any change to new packaging or products, review specifications for completeness.

%AA; Assure that all pertinent information is documented appropriately for incoming materials.

%AA; Enforce procedures and controls to assure that all products are prepared according to the FWF

standards and specifications.

%AA; Check equipment calibration.

%AA; Daily processing and packaging process reviews

%AA; Ensure conformance to specifications

%AA; Report problems or concerns to QA Assistant.

%AA; Daily review of all QA reports, including HACCP

%AA; Maintain test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices.

%AA; Others assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

%AA; One year of QC inspector food industry experience.

%AA; High School Diploma or GED required

%AA; Ability to work in a team environment.

%AA; Bilingual in English/Spanish

%AA; Ability to handle multiple tasks.

%AA; Ability to use best judgment.

%AA; Computer skills (word, Excel, PowerPoint)

%AA; Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees

%AA; Must be available to work second shift and/or third shift, including evenings, overnight hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.
