ready mix truck driver

T Stone Construction LLC is seeking a ready mix truck driver to safely deliver concrete to job sites and support timely construction operations in Puyallup, WA.

Position Summary

As a Ready Mix Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting concrete from our facility to customer and construction sites while maintaining safe driving practices and professional communication. You will help ensure loads are delivered on time and in the proper condition to meet project requirements.

This full-time onsite role is ideal for a dependable driver who takes pride in safety, understands delivery expectations, and can work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate ready mix trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and site rules.

• Ensure accurate delivery of concrete loads, including proper handling and confirmation of delivery details.

• Perform pre-trip, on-route, and post-trip inspections and report any equipment or safety concerns promptly.

• Maintain professional communication with dispatch, delivery personnel, and job site contacts to coordinate timing and access.

• Keep the truck and related equipment clean and organized, and follow procedures for load acceptance and transfer.

Required Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver license (CDL) with the endorsements required to operate a ready mix truck.

• Safe driving record and ability to operate a commercial vehicle in varying traffic and weather conditions.

• Ability to follow detailed delivery procedures and safety protocols consistently.

• Willingness to work full-time onsite and meet job site delivery schedules.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a safety-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving commercial trucks, including deliveries to construction or industrial job sites.

• Familiarity with concrete delivery expectations, load handling, and job site coordination.

• Comfort working in outdoor environments and around active construction operations.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and report truck issues early.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $25.00 - $35
