Job Summary
The Home Care Sale Representative is responsible for driving agency growth by building relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and referral sources to generate new client referrals. This role develops and executes a strategic sales plan, represents Right at Home in the community, manages the sales pipeline, and guides prospective clients through the intake process.
Working closely with the Operations team, the Community Liaison ensures a seamless transition from referral to the start of care while promoting the Right at Home brand and identifying opportunities for continued growth.
Essential Functions
Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, referral partners, and community organizations.
Execute a territory sales plan to increase referrals and grow agency census.
Conduct daily business development activities, including in-person visits, networking, and follow-up.
Manage new client inquiries and guide prospects through the sales process.
Conduct in-home consultations and complete client assessments as appropriate.
Develop care plans and coordinate the transition to operations for the start of care.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and document all activities within the CRM.
Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure an exceptional client experience.
Represent Right at Home at networking events, health fairs, recruiting events, and community presentations.
Present Continuing Education (CEU) programs to healthcare professionals as assigned.
Monitor local market trends and competitor activity and share insights with leadership.
Assist with marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and community outreach.
Support recruiting efforts by participating in hiring events and promoting employment opportunities.
Meet established sales, referral, and growth goals.
Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to develop new business and maintain professional relationships.
Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
Strong time management and ability to work independently.
Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Healthcare, home care, or outside sales experience preferred.
Knowledge of senior care, home care, or healthcare services preferred.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Working Conditions
This position works primarily in the community with regular travel throughout the assigned territory. Office work, client visits, networking events, and occasional evening or weekend events may be required.
