Parts Counterperson

Kokomo Auto World is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our growing Parts Department. If you have automotive parts experience, enjoy helping customers and technicians, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail and customers in identifying and purchasing automotive parts.
• Work closely with service technicians to provide the correct parts in a timely manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to parts inquiries.
• Research part numbers using manufacturer catalogs and dealership software.
• Process customer orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and accurate parts department.
• Assist with inventory counts and inventory control.
• Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction.

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts experience preferred.
• Toyota and/or Honda dealership experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership software.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
