Tax Manager

Based in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid), we are a well-established public accounting firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a growing team handling sophisticated tax compliance and advisory matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who values technical depth client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a full spectrum of individual partnership corporate and trust and estate tax services while developing and strengthening client relationships across the firm's tax practice
• Review and oversee tax compliance engagements ensuring quality control procedures are followed and keeping partners informed of progress with recommended solutions for timely action
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for businesses and high net worth individuals including multi-state and consolidated tax returns with accuracy and efficiency
• Supervise mentor and evaluate Staff and Senior Associates while staying current on tax law changes and emerging industry issues to provide clients with in-depth technical guidance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required with active CPA license; Master of Tax preferred
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting with demonstrated proficiency in C and S corporation partnership individual and trust and estate taxation
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously with strong research skills and experience building visibility through networking and client responsiveness
