Job Description
Haden's Lawncare, LLC is seeking a dedicated Mowing Crew member to help maintain and enhance residential and commercial properties across Shenandoah valley, VA.
Position SummaryAs a Mowing Crew team member, you will perform routine lawn care tasks that keep properties looking their best. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality results, and can follow established procedures to ensure consistent, professional service.
You will collaborate with your crew to complete daily mowing and related landscaping duties efficiently while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesMow and edge lawns to ensure clean, consistent cuts and well-defined boundaries
Perform routine lawn care tasks such as trimming, blowing off hard surfaces, and light landscaping support
Operate lawn equipment safely and responsibly, including basic maintenance checks before and after use
Follow work orders and routes to complete assigned properties efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, tools, and work vehicles
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and complete physically active tasks
Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures for equipment and job site practices
Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to follow directions and communicate professionally with team members and customers when needed
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended periods, including lifting and carrying equipment as required
Valid drivers license
Prior experience with lawn care, mowing, or general landscaping work
Familiarity with common outdoor power equipment and basic troubleshooting practices
A strong understanding of quality standards for lawn appearance and finishing details
Experience working effectively as part of a crew in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Hourly rate: $14.00 - $26.00
