Pet Waste Technician

Pet Butler Rockland/Bergen is seeking a Pet Waste Technician to help keep neighborhoods clean and pets cared for through consistent, high-quality onsite service.

Position Summary

As a Pet Waste Technician, you will perform timely pet waste removal and sanitation tasks for residential clients, ensuring each visit is completed to a high standard. Your reliability, attention to detail, and respectful customer service help maintain a positive experience for both clients and their pets.

This is an onsite, full-time role focused on daily field work. You’ll take pride in delivering clean, well-maintained outcomes and supporting the overall quality of Pet Butler’s services.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove pet waste promptly and thoroughly during scheduled onsite visits.

• Maintain clean work practices and properly handle waste disposal procedures.

• Follow service routes and schedules to ensure consistent coverage for assigned clients.

• Inspect service areas for completion and address any issues according to established standards.

• Provide courteous, professional communication with clients in the field.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work full-time onsite and perform physically active tasks outdoors.

• Reliability and strong time-management skills to complete scheduled visits.

• Basic comfort with pet environments while maintaining professionalism and cleanliness.

• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures consistently.

• Willingness to work independently while adhering to clear service expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in grounds maintenance, cleaning services, landscaping, or similar field work.

• Familiarity with safe handling and disposal practices for waste.

• Experience providing customer-facing service in residential settings.

• A strong personal commitment to cleanliness, detail, and consistent service quality.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $17.00 - $20.00
