Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Flower Mound & Lewisville, TX (Onsite)
Pay Range: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Monday & Wednesday: Lewisville, TX | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: Flower Mound, TX | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Minimum 30-minute lunch break
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview
Addison Group is hiring for our client, a growing women's health practice, seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join their clinical team. This role supports a physician in a fast-paced office specializing in high-risk obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine. The ideal candidate enjoys direct patient care, is highly organized, and thrives in a busy clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patient charts and review medical histories prior to appointments
- Utilize Epic to document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
- Coordinate referrals to specialists such as genetic counselors and diabetic educators when appropriate
- Schedule surgical procedures and hospital appointments
- Assist with insurance prior authorizations and outbound referrals
- Perform patient rooming and support physician workflow throughout the day
- Conduct non-stress tests (NSTs)
- Draw blood and perform phlebotomy as needed (following training/contract period)
- Assist with in-office procedures and provide clinical support during patient visits
- Maintain efficient patient flow while delivering excellent patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (or ability to maintain certification)
- Experience using Epic electronic medical records
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with 35–40 patients per day
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in OB/GYN, Women's Health, or Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experience with surgery scheduling and insurance authorizations
Work Environment
- Fully onsite position split between two clinic locations
