Halligan LLC is seeking a skilled and highly organized Family Law Paralegal to support our growing practice. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with at least two years of family law experience who can confidently manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy under pressure, and provide exceptional support throughout the lifecycle of a case. Please note: Applicants must reside in Colorado. Candidates located outside of Colorado will not be considered.Compensation:

$59,000 - $67,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct client interviews and gather information necessary to support family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and property division cases
  • Assist with hearing, mediation, and trial preparation, ensuring attorneys have organized and complete materials needed for successful representation
  • Conduct legal research and assist attorneys in developing case strategies and preparing for hearings, mediations, and court appearances
  • Prepare, review, and organize legal documents, including Sworn Financial Statements, Rule 16.2 disclosures, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Coordinate case activity between clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and third-party professionals to ensure efficient case progression

Qualifications:
  • Paralegal certificate, associate degree in paralegal studies, or equivalent legal education and experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of family law paralegal experience, preferably in a Colorado law firm environment
  • Experience preparing family law documents, including financial disclosures, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional, client-service-oriented approach
  • Strong knowledge of Colorado family law procedures, Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure, court processes, and filing deadlines
