About the Role:

As a Restaurant Line Cook, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality culinary experiences to our guests by preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards. You will work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes are prepared promptly and presented attractively. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene will help maintain the restaurant's reputation for excellence. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary school training or certification.
  • Experience with various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations and equipment.
  • Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff to manage food orders and maintain efficient workflow during service hours.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or spoilage.
  • Support the kitchen team by performing prep work such as chopping, measuring, and portioning ingredients.
  • Adapt to menu changes and special dietary requests while maintaining quality and consistency.
