Irrigation Installation Foreman

River Heights Outdoor Solutions, one of the premier landscape companies in the Twin Cities, is looking for an experienced Irrigation Installation Foreman to lead irrigation installation projects for high-end residential and commercial properties.
This role is for someone who knows irrigation systems inside and out — from reading blueprints to troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical components — and who can lead a crew to deliver quality work on every job. You'll manage jobsites from start to finish, train and support your crew, and be the go-to expert when it comes to getting irrigation systems installed right.
What You'll Do
- Lead irrigation installation projects for high-end residential and commercial properties
- Manage daily jobsite activities, ensuring work is completed accurately, safely, and efficiently
- Read and interpret irrigation plans and blueprints
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including hydraulic and electrical components
- Integrate smart irrigation technology, including Wi-Fi enabled controllers and rain sensors
- Operate trenchers and other equipment as needed
- Lead, train, and support crew members while maintaining productivity and quality standards
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, crew members, and project managers, resolving questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and job progress
- Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and safe
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience leading irrigation installation crews
- Strong knowledge of irrigation installation, repair, troubleshooting, and system efficiency
- Ability to lead a crew and keep projects moving with limited supervision
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, piping, and equipment repair
- Experience operating trucks with trailers
- Ability to read and understand irrigation plans and blueprints
- Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Valid driver's license required
- Willingness to work occasional paid overtime as needed
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant material, and landscape installation best practices
- Current DOT card
- Bilingual English/Spanish
