Operator- Packaging: 1st or 2nd Shift FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Production Manager

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing routine duties in the packaging department while assisting others in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing Packaging of all customers finished product.
• Package product as received from Final Inspection Department per computerized and written instructions.
• Prepare all necessary paperwork, including appropriate labels and include any special instructions included with the work order document.
• Package DMR and Non-Conformance materials from receiving, purchasing or stockroom for return shipments to vendors.
• Follow instructions as directed by supervisor
• Keep work area neat and clean
• Responsible for end of shift cleanup of your area
• Perform other assigned work-related duties as instructed

Technical Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent education
• Some computer experience, good with math is helpful.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, bend and lift product
• Prefer 6 months experience in Packaging Department
