The Opportunity
We are seeking a poised, highly efficient, and strategic Intellectual Property Legal Assistant to join the legal team of a prestigious Boston law firm recognized for its excellence, integrity, and long-standing success. This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside top-tier attorneys in a dynamic intellectual property practice, supporting both domestic and international IP matters.
  • Provide high-level legal and administrative assistance to incredibly smart and kind attorneys in the firm’s distinguished IP Practice Group.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, including deadlines for filings, hearings, and client meetings.
  • Assist with preparation and filing of IP-related documents (U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Copyright Office, etc.).
  • Draft correspondence, maintain client contact, and track case status.
  • Manage electronic and physical case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Conduct conflict checks and assist with new matter intake and processing attorney’s monthly invoices.
  • Support attorneys in scheduling, docketing, and billing processes.
