Surgery SchedulerWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will coordinate surgical procedures, communicate with patients and medical staff, and ensure all scheduling and documentation requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures and coordinate operating room availability
• Communicate with patients regarding surgery dates, preparation instructions, and insurance requirements
• Verify insurance authorizations and obtain necessary pre-certifications
• Coordinate with physicians, hospitals, surgical centers, and anesthesia providers
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling documentation
• Reschedule procedures as needed and manage scheduling conflicts
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous medical scheduling or healthcare administrative experience preferred
• 
  
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office
