This is a rapidly growing, multi-entity organization operating across several business lines in the property services space. With approximately 300 employees spread across six different operational entities, the company is focused on unifying HR processes, improving operational consistency, and building scalable infrastructure to support continued growth.
The organization is currently transitioning away from manual, decentralized HR processes and is investing in centralized systems, standardized onboarding, and stronger payroll and compliance structure across all brands.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly capable HR Manager to serve as the central owner of HR operations across multiple business entities. This role will be responsible for building structure, improving consistency, and leading core HR functions including onboarding, payroll, compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations.
This is a highly hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, solving operational inefficiencies, and creating scalable HR infrastructure in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance
- Redesign and streamline onboarding workflows to reduce manual processes and improve new hire experience
- Manage multi-entity HR structure and work toward standardizing policies and procedures across all business units
- Own payroll administration including processing, audits, corrections, and coordination across multiple entities
- Ensure accuracy of employee data across HRIS and payroll systems
- Administer employee benefits programs and coordinate annual open enrollment activities with broker partners
- Partner with leadership to support employee relations, engagement, and retention initiatives
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws across multiple operational entities
- Support implementation and optimization of HR systems and workflows (HRIS/payroll tools)
- Serve as a key point of contact for onboarding, termination, and HR process troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to payroll administration
- Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-location, or multi-state organizations preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of onboarding, HRIS systems, and payroll processing required
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee lifecycle management, and benefits administration
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and build scalable HR processes from the ground up
- Experience working in high-growth or operationally complex environments strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage sensitive data and payroll accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with leadership and operations teams
