We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled AM / Morning Cook to join our dietary team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys starting their day early, preparing quality meals, and creating a positive dining experience for our residents.

• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and other morning meal items according to established menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines

• Ensure meals are ready and served on schedule

• Meet facility standards for food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control

• Accommodate modified diets and resident-specific dietary needs

• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen work areas, utensils, and equipment

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control requirements

• Assist with inventory, food storage, labeling, and rotation

• Collaborate with dietary staff and other team members to provide excellent resident service

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Previous cooking, dietary, or commercial kitchen experience preferred

• Long-term care or healthcare food-service experience is a plus

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Dependable and comfortable working early morning hours

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
