WELDERS and FITTERS

We are seeking skilled Welders and Fitters to join our medium-sized team of 6-15 professionals, working primarily on manufacturing and production line projects. Reporting to the Supervisor, this role involves hands-on work with both basic hand tools and advanced welding equipment to deliver high-quality metal fabrication and fitting services, while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks according to specifications
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards
• Maintain and service welding equipment for optimal performance
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
• Prepare materials and layout measurements accurately for fitting
• Collaborate effectively within the production line team

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in welding and fitting
• Technical diploma in Welding or related field
• Welding certification such as AWS
• Proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Mechanical fitting skills
• Strong attention to detail
