Maintenance Technician

Location: Detroit, MI

Are you an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician looking to join an innovative manufacturing company? We are seeking a skilled professional to maintain and repair production equipment in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment serving the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

· Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

· Maintain pumps, mixers, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and other production equipment.

· Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime.

· Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

· Support equipment installations and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Follow all safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

· Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

· Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

· Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

· Experience in chemical, automotive, plastics, or manufacturing environments is preferred.

· PLC troubleshooting and welding experience are a plus.
